Days 78-79 Kuala Lumpur

I've been surprised how much I like Kuala Lumpur.  Of course it's a big city. One of the biggest ones in the world.  But still it doesn't feel that big. It's hot and moist. There has been some rain in both afternoons but... Who cares when it's as warm as it is here. The rain cools the weather a bit and makes it nicer.

The Malaysian people (Malay, I think) are extremely friendly and helpful. Several times when I've been a bit lost a local has come to ask if I needed help. And today I was sitting on the bench when a local guy came and started a conversation.  He suggested that I should come here again and rent a motorcycle.  Drive north the west coast and come back the east coast. The more I think about it the better it sounds.  Maybe one day. But in sum, I like Malaysia much better than Thailand.

I visited Petronas Towers (of course) and a planetarium and Kuala Lumpur Tower for some sightseeing. Other than that I've been mainly walking around the city.  Sometimes I've even taken public transportation. It's cheap, clean and easy.

Local Hard Rock Cafe.  Didn't buy anything
