Days 58-72 Finland

The coldness hit me instantly after arriving to Finland. Rain, coldness, snow occasionally felt terrible right away. Even though I'm not such a big fan of heat I found Bangkok a better place when considering the weather. It's some sort of miracle how quickly one can adapt to the heat and how slow it can be to the other direction.

My plans got a little twisted a couple of days ago. My original plan was to arrive in Melbourne the next morning the container arrives i.e. November 29th. But unfortunately the shipping company delayed the container for a week. (and even for a second week but luckily Heinrich managed to organize that.) So the container arrives in Melbourne in December 5th. Heinrich and Anna postponed their flights from Vietnam until December 10th. I didn't want to pay for altering the flights so I decided to go to New Zealand.

I'll arrive in Melbourne very early in the morning and depart to Christchurch at midnight. After landing in NZ I'll get a rental Motorcycle for a week to circle around the South Island. I'll fly back to Melbourne in December 8th.

But first I have to stand the coldness of Finland for couple of more days until I fly to Malaysia to see Kuala Lumpur and the Singapore.

But what have I done during my time in Finland (except planning the next phases of my trip)?

I've played guitar with my daughter

I've changed the car tires. It was really slippery to drive with summer tires on the icy roads.

I've started my beloved Blackbird. She needed some extra power. That's why the charger.

I've eaten in Hesburger without the disappointment I felt in Vladivostok

I've done some maintenance for my son's motocross bike (I just watched on the side)

I've driven in snow.

And I've wondered about a thousand time how anyone can live in this weather.
