Days 115 - 116 Toronto - Wolombi - Sydney

33539 - 33979  440 km

It was time to stop being lazy and get going again. I packed my gear on the bike and Mirco his stuff on his loaned bike. This was only a short one night trip before heading to Sydney to see the fireworks. Martin was about to fly to Santiago de Chile early next morning so it was time to say goodbye

The road we took was very nice. Not that much in scenery wise but as a motorcycle road. Nice curves and corners most of the way. We stopped for a lunch in a biker bar on the way and rode 35 km of gravel road when taking a shortcut.

The night we spent on a camping area behind Wolombi Tavern. It seemed they were supposed to have fireworks there too in new year's eve. Lots of campers arrived at the same night as we did and even more the next morning.

We only had a short trip to go in the morning to get back to Toronto. During the day we washed some laundry and organized things in the internet. In the afternoon we took a train to Sydney.

There was a lot of people! Tens of thousands of people had gathered near Harbour Bridge to see the fireworks.

We managed to get to a really good spot. Here's some video footage and photos to see.

Now I've seen new year in Sydney. One more thing to tick off my bucket list.

Through those fireworks I want to say to all my readers:

HAVE A GREAT YEAR 2018
